  1. You must find them fresh in the shell. Shuck em and pan fry in butter and grapeseed oil. Don’t crowd the pan ! Sear for a minute or two , flip and sear other side for a minute. Galic infused butter and squeeze of fresh lemon juice and enjoy .

Looks really good for your first try I cook a lot of scallops at work id say use just a little more oil and wait until the second before the oil is about to start smoking then drop them in the pan and move them right ways to make sure they are not sticking. Also if they do get stuck take a spoon and flip it upside down it will get them off and keep the sear
