PASTA BASICS & HOW TO BOIL PASTA
Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 12-15 minutes
Servings : 2

Ingredients:
Pipe shaped pasta’s
Rigatoni pasta
Penne pasta
Macaroni pasta
Chifferi pasta
Long / Noodles shaped pasta’s
Capellini / Angel hair pasta
Spaghetti pasta
Linguine pasta
Ribbon shaped pasta’s
Fettuccine pasta
Tagliatelle pasta
Pappardelle pasta
Maltagliati pasta
Farfalle pasta
200 gm Rigatoni Pasta (रिगेटनी पास्ता)
2 ltr Water (पानी)
2 tsp Salt (नमक)
1 tbsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)

Process
In a large pot add water, salt and bring it to a rolling boil then add the pasta and cook it according to the timing given on the package.
Once cooked strain it properly in a strainer then apply olive oil and keep aside for further use.

  5. In dhabaas on GT Road in Gujranwala, Pakistan, have a very peculiar way of cooking pasta. Firstly, they boil for 30 minutes, then they fry in oil with other ingredients for 10 to 15 minutes. Issue with us is we love to fry and over cook.
