As an Italian you are really good at cooking pasta, but the capers in the pesto don't work. Obviously they are personal tastes but mainly they do not bring themselves
There is no rule for making a delicious food just follow what you love to do 🙂

Im italian living in italy bruv, you made a good and tasty dish, but:
1)You have to garnish your pasta with COLD pesto, which means that you don't have to warm it before. Cook your pasta and put the pesto. Easy.
2)Pasta al pesto means that you have pasta and pesto, thats it. Don't ad fish or meat
3)Don't mix cheese and fish ( i like that combo btw) is considered like a sin in italy
4)Parmesan is fake Parmigiano.
