Be careful, it melted my plastic table.
First use i put it on Home Depot plastic table, no problems grilling no bubbles, no softness. Maybe you guys used a real pos thin plastic table so you need to test again. Burgers came out great with my dogs. Trying some St Louis comp style ribs today. Happy memorial day!🎉
This grill is FOUR HUNDRED & FIFTY DOLLARS NOW!!!! Piss off PK grills!! It was $269 during this review
Suggest using long handle pliers to set the cooking grate. This makes setting it in place with the heat and a little giggle to set it in place on the support bracket.
I put mine on concrete blocks on my tailgate. Gets it higher and the heat doesn't hurt anything
$269!!! I’m late af. It’s $399 at academy.
Grill grates are available!
Is any negative feedback at all ?
Burns through plastic tables faster than it burns through coal. No thanks
Don’t know anybody that would cook on a plastic table.🙄
Finally two pit bosses i can trust.
I've got my eye on this product on Amazon and i got to say. I found 399.00 for the PKGO a bit too high.
Gents please make more cooking vids on the PKGO. I want to see how it does burgers, brats, steaks, fish, pork, and most importantly temp control on all cooks.
$269? It's $399 on their site. Doesn't look worth the money. Thanks for sharing.
Reflecting heat is what aluminum does.
I guess I could have watched this before asking you my stupid questions this morning, M. Lol
Did my third burn today. Did it with the lid off like a traditional hibachi. Oh lordy, does this thing cook hot and fast! Made three 1/3 pound frozen burgers along with four 1/4 pound frozen sausage patties. They were done on the one side while I went up to wash my hands and get a beer! Flipped and done before i could finish half a smoke! Burgers were charred on the outside, brown all the way through except for a faint pink line but just as juicy as ever! Bought it cause Lodge stopped making their cast iron fisherman's grill and glad i did!
I'll stick with my weber jumbo joe…ain't melting any table ☺️🍻🍻
Appreciate the review, just picked mine up at proud souls in littleton, co. Looking forward to the first cook.
02:32 I'm pretty sure the charcoal grates are not stainless steel. At least there is no mention of it on their website. Too bad they're made in China.
I would like to see a product review on the Gizzo Grill and or the Nomad Grill. Both are portable and awesome. I have a Gizzo Grill myself perfect for camping/tailgates take to the beach.
I love watching bbq reviews as these. No idea why because most of the products I can't order from in EU.
But can't stop watching them 🙂
the fact that the leg or the bottom isn't insulated or contains a heat barrier sounds like a downfall more so than a plus
How's this more portable than the original pk?
My local bbq supply shop has a draw for one of the hibachis. I entered when I was there buying rub. Hoping I win so I have something better than propane to grill on at the cabin!
Does it get hot underneath? Can you put it on a wooden/composite table?
Thanks for the kind words and happy grilling!
I see this thing being a hit for SCA cook-offs. I want one!
