  1. Really love your videos man and the effort behind them. And of course, the effort you go through to write everything down and post the recipes to follow along. So many foodtubers publish 'recipe videos' but you go check the video description and there's nothing there. They want you to watch their video, and apparently any time you want to reference the recipe, you're supposed to skip around the video and write everything down yourself while you're trying to make it. It's gotten to the point I just refuse to watch any 'recipe' videos that don't actually post the recipe even if the food looks amazing.

    Thanks again.

  2. Thanks a lot as always for the recipes and tests Jason! You really, really go all out on the research for these, and I hope your channel gets rewarded for it soon (I can't believe its been 3 days since upload and you only got 36K views on this, hope the algorithm picks your stuff up!) If I may, can I request a Jollibee fried chicken/chicken sandwich secrets revealed video?

  3. Excellently awesome. Definitely saved. Been hoping you'd do their spicy fried chicken, but this is almost as good. Or is the batter about the same for the fried chicken, do you think?

Any idea what kind of hot sauce they use for the spicy sandwich? Edit: saw your later comment on this. Staying tuned.

    Thanks again.

  4. Every Jason Farmer video I watch I wonder to myself how this channel isn't so much bigger… every single video. This is channel just continues to be a hidden gem and it's gotta be just a matter of time before it blows up.

And unrelated… at first I thought the prices of the ingredients you showed at the grocery store were INSANE and wondered where the heck you live that they're so high, until I looked up the price of the same things on our local grocery store's app and see they're the same here in PA 🤦‍♂$1.50 for salt, $4 for MSG, $3 for a small jar of pickles?? Didn't realize it was THIS bad 😔

  5. Hi Jason! I've been waiting for this video ever since you posted the teaser sammich pic (you rascal)! I just ordered all the niche ingredients and will be attempting this recipe soon 😀

Btw, around this time last year I followed your chinese take out series and posted several attempts on Reddit, including your fried rice recipe from 2022. I was thrilled to receive your message complimenting my take on your recipe! My husband and I still watch every video you post. We appreciate your research and dedication! The advice on where to find specific ingredients is especially helpful. Keep up the stellar work!

  6. Was this sandwich recipe worth all of the money that you spent on the unusual ingredients that you had to purchase?

Also, you can get beef fat and make tallow yourself relatively inexpensively. I got ten pounds for free from Kroger, but you might not be so lucky because they have a national contract that involves the butchers packing up the beef trimmings and sending it to a dog food manufacturer. If you ask nicely and you have a cool butcher, he might hook you up. They have the most beef fat on hand when ribeyes or NY strips are on sale. Alternatively, HEB’s butcher shop has beef fat for 1.40 per pound and you can buy as much as they have available. You might get them to cut you a deal for a large amount it if you explain what you’re doing. Cool video, Jason!
