Step by step guide on how to cook Pork Adobo with Egg or Adobong Baboy na may Itlog

Ingredients:

Cooking oil
Peppercorn – 1 tablespoon
Garlic – 1 bulb/buo large size, minced

Dried bay leaves – 3 to 4 pcs
Vinegar – 1/8 cup or 30ml
Soy sauce – 1/4 cup or 60ml
Water – 650ml or 2 and 3/4 cup ( for sauce ) and 3 liters for boiling
Pork – 500g to 1 kilo, cut into chunks
Eggs – 2 to 4 pcs
Cayenne pepper/Siling Labuyo – 3 to 4 pcs ( Optional ingredient )

Procedure:

Medium heat setting:

On a cooking pot, add 3 liters of water and boil
Once the water is hot, add eggs and pork
Once the pork is starting to be boiled, you will see foam on top of the water, remove it
Continue Boiling pork and egg for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, get 650ml of boiled water from the pot
Get the boiled eggs and pork then set is aside for a while
On a cooking pot, heat cooking oil
Once the oil starts heating up, add Garlic and Pork
Saute Garlic and Pork until Garlic is slightly brown in color
Once the garlic is ready, add soy sauce, vinegar, 650ml boiled water, peppercorn, dried bay leaves, eggs and cayenne pepper
Cover the pot for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, check if the sauce is thick
Once the sauce is thick, your Adobong Baboy is cooked!

Serve with rice and Enjoy!
