We made this one morning to have to dinner without a BBQ Pit. Just goes to show that you don’t need a fancy pit to use TexasBBQRub. It takes a few minutes to prepare before putting in a crock pot. Let the crock pot cook the pork butt all day. You’ll have a good weeks worth of good eating.

use a liner. remove with it in the liner over the sink cut a small end to drain the grease. lay in a pan cut and peel away the bag to keep it whole presentation. cheers

I love this crockpot!>>>ur2.pl/1064 I own one and bought this for my daughter. Great size, the timer is such a plus, just set the time and once it's done, it goes to warm automatically. No need to worry if you're late getting home. I also love the locks on the top of the crockpot! You can take it in the car and not worry about spills, the top stays on and you carry it using the handles on the side. It's easy to clean because you take the pot out when you're done, wash it then put it back to store it. So many reasons to love this crockpot!

How big is that pork shoulder you have there? I'm making one tomorrow and going to slow cook it in the over on 250 and mines about 7 pounds. How long would I need to cook it for? I ask because yours looks about the size of mine and you said you slow cooked for 8 hours right. What temp did you cook it at.
