PORK HAMONADO | Another best Filipino Pork dish | How to cook Easy PORK Hamonado Filipino Style

Sharing another easy way to cook PORK HAMONADO / Filipino Style Pork Hamonado. Pork Hamonado is a Filipino dish with pork marinated in pineapple juice and soy sauce. Slowly cooked to its marinade and brown sugar. This dish is packed with flavors It is so simple and easy to make and so good you will definitely ask for more. Easy recipe to satisfy your cravings! Here is how to cook CHICKEN HAMONADO :
PORK HAMONADORECIPE :
Ingredients:
2 lb pork, cut into chunks

For marinade:
1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper

For the sauce:
1 medium onion, chopped
7 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 can (20 oz)pineapple chunks
2 fresh bay leaves
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:
1. In al arge bowl, drain juice from pineapple chunks.
2. Combine pork, pineapple juice, soy sauce and pepper in a bowl. Cover with lid or plastic wrap then marinate in the fridge for an hour or overnight.
2. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Reserve the marinade.
3. In a large pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Sear the pork both sides until browned. Cook by batch do not overcrowd the pan. Remove the pork from the pan.
4. In the same pan, add onion. Cook until translucent..
5. Add garlic, cook until lightly browned.
6. Add the reserved marinade, bring to a boil for 5 mins.
7. Add beef broth, bay leaves, brown sugar and pepper. Stir until sugar dissolves.
8. Add back the pork.
9. Cover with lid and let it simmer for over medium heat for 30 mins or until pork is fork tender. Stir occasionally to keep it from burning.
9. Remove pork from the pan.
10. Continue to simmer uncovered until sauce is reduced and thickens until your desired consistency.
11. Add pineapple chunks. Stir to coat in the sauce.
12. Let it simmer for 3 mins or until it reaches your preferred consistency.
