It's it 20 minutes per pound?
If you don't use the metal rack to hold the dome and heating element the dome lasts much longer. I've had the original now for over two years and there are no signs of cracking.
I love my nuwave, had to get a new unit with better dome. made Turkey for Thanksgiving this yr. it was AWESOME. if you dont have a nuwave you need to get one. the one kitchen "gadget" that actual works.
