Portuguese Beach Bar Bream | DJ BBQ in Portugal



Holy Smoke Food Tubers DJ BBQ’s got a fish-tastic recipe guaranteed to get your gills flapping. Whole Sea Bream grilled to perfection over an open flame, basted with a garlic and lemon butter and served with crushed new potatoes. Simply delicious!

All cooked up at the Burgau Beach Bar in Southern Portugal where this beautiful fish dish was first created.

  1. Hello DJBBQ
    Saw some one saying the Dourada and Robalo are the best fishes that you can cook… not true! They are 2 excellent fishes… but there are others that you can say are better… the best and perhaps the most expensive is SALMONETE, you can find it all along the coast but you should really visite Setúbal (40 km South of Lisbon) to eat the best Salmonete in Portugal.. and try also LINGUADO and LÍNGUA (2 very similar fishes that difer only in the width basically)
    By the way people are waiting for you to come back and do your voodo thing! 🙂

  2. Sorry to say this but i eat that since i was like 4years old… My grandma makes it and i learned how too. But my grandma knows sooooo many sauces it goes with and side dishes that you can't even imagine. Good luck to you. Show me something new btw.

  3. DJ BBQ Hope you enjoyed my beautiful country! We have amazing food, you should show more of us to the world! =) And by the way, we clean all the fishes we cook, including sardines. Only in South Portugal, better saying, Algarve, we cook calamar without being clean. And by the way again, the potatoes there, I didn't know if you really understood it, it's called "Batata à Murro" (="Punched Potato")
