  1. We've done a lot of camping – all over the US – and weight is important to us. That unit seems far too heavy to add to the load. Looks like a great unit for a small, at home BBQ, But I wouldn't be lugging it around for camping, in a caravan (trailer) or otherwise.

  2. It's easier to get the silver skin off when they are partially frozen.
Next time try using just plain old yellow mustard as a binder for the spices instead of olive oil. I promise you won't even taste a bit of the mustard.
I personally don't care for charcoal. I'll stick with my electric smoker!
That's a very nice little ceramic egg cooker though. Perfect for on the go!

  3. Hi Bev, Howie and Gracie! I always prepare my ribs the night before while they are still a little frozen. It makes pulling off the silver skin or membrane a breeze and marinating the ribs overnight in the rub makes them taste delicious.
Good job Howie, ribs looked delicious and I hope you both enjoyed them.
Nice grill too. Have a blessed day, love and hugs ❤️🤗

  4. One way you can get around it for ribs is to bake them low and slow in the oven 2-3 hrs at 250 in foil. Once done, cut it into ribs, and then throw them on the grill to sear them and get that great charcoal flavor. Happy grilling!

  5. Pretty nice grill, I'm guessing you could get enough chicken on that for two people. Those ribs looked yummy! If I understood Howie said you can use the small fire starter cubes, I think that's how I would do it, they work so well.

  6. It looks good. I read a few reviews online, and one guy had a short video . He had his ribs in a circle, and they cooked well, and then you could cook other things around it.
Don't think they are here in Australia, so I may buy something similar. Thanks for your video. 😊

  7. With all the CRAP of the great reset and the agenda 2030… This is the perfect appliance to have… thank you for sharing.. I'll certainly be talking about this with my wife.
Bev, are you a praying woman? If yes, could you please keep my wife Kimberley in your prayers.. thanks and God bless you.
