Does this cause the banana to get riper? We like our bananas a little on the green side, (I know, weird), they’re firmer & sweeter… once they have a brown spot they’re too ripe & get “mooshy”. It would be a shame to ruin a good banana 😉. We’re not a fan of banana bread either.
I've tried this a few times, including once where I left one avocado out of the bag, as a control. As far as I can tell, it has no noticeable effect at all.
(Edit: And yes, I did it for several days – all the avocados seemed to ripen at exactly the same rate.)
Can u just throw in the peels?
I didn’t understand the science behind it, but I got the process down.
So how much faster? I know they'll ripen in a brown bag ny themselves, in a few days anyway. How much faster does a banana make this happen?
How long….
Just love you! Good content, wonderful energy, solid science!
She has an infections smile
Need to store those avocados put them in a bowl of water in the fridge.

Erica, you have a beautiful smile.
This doesn’t work, just let the avocados ripe on the counter
How do you grab science? Science is not a thing, it is a verb.
Any tips for making an avocado last longer though? I have more issues with them going bad before I can eat them.
Or slice a raw one & add lemon/juice…

A paper bag is just fine only
I love your videos! Your cheerful excitement is contagious and makes the science you share all the more enjoyable to learn from. Thank you! ❤
Peaches ripen best on the tree. Tree ripened flavor is much better than shelf ripened.
Those huge teeth are scary.
The last fruit she said was Apricots, but the subtitles said Avocado, even though we were already talking about that
Only because we gas the heck out of nanners
