  2. My husband treated me to a Richard Bertinet class in Bath several years ago. It made a huge difference in my ability to make great artisanal breads by using the slap and fold method. At first you think…nope, this is not a good technique, as the dough sticks to your hands. But, as you continue, as in his videos, it is like magic!! He is a great teacher in person, as well!

  3. Wish I could make bread like this. Tried making it using Richard’s method and ended up with is a big old mess that wouldn’t rise.

    But then he’s probably been making bread since he was about 4, so I’m not getting too down hearted about it.
