  1. I have been buying pork shoulder for sometimes as low as .97 cents a pound and have used it to make Chinese BBq Pork many times….but never even thought of doing this. The pork shoulders come in 3-4 lbs (with bone) so I usually cut it up into 1/3ds. For the part with the bone, we use carne asada seasoning and slow roast it until the bone just pulls right out and we make tacos or have it over rice……I have been looking for other ways to fix this as it is a tasty cut of meat (just needs some work to prepare) and it stretches the budget nicely, and the taste is outstanding……It's just the wife and me now…Kids have flown the coup so it has been difficult making just enough for us 2 for a day or 2 without making so much we have to eat the same thing for a week………after 3 meals of the same thing I usually need a change…….Thank you I am cooking this next!
