  1. 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝙄𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙀 𝘿𝙐𝘾𝙆
    Cooked on the New @fyrstarter grill and its cordless rotisserie attachment. This was my 1st time ever cooking a whole duck. Wasn’t really going for a Peking duck just a delicious duck w/ Asian flavors. I’m very happy on how this turned out. The flavors from the stuffing definitely shined through and the finishing glaze was 💰! Most definitely will be making this recipe again.

    𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙜:
    • ½ orange
    • 2 scallions
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 3 slices of ginger
    • 1 tsp five spice powder
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil

    𝙎𝙖𝙪𝙘𝙚:
    • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
    • 2 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • Juice of ½ orange

    𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:
    • Cover duck in kosher salt and brine in the fridge for 24-48hrs
    • w/ a meat tenderizer poke holes all over breast area.
    • Mix all stuffing ingredients in a bowl then stuff duck w/ half an orange and stuffing.
    • Tie up duck, remove wing tips, cover in @duckfatspray and get onto rotisserie. Place rotisserie over @jealousdevilcharcoal Lump coals and slow roast the duck until it reaches 180F in the thigh.
    • For the sauce over medium heat add all ingredients into a cast iron skillet and cook for 5 mins constantly stirring.
    • When duck reaches 180F remove from heat and let rest for 10min before slicing and serving with sauce.
