Kerala Sardine Fry Recipe👇
Ingredients
Cleaned Sardine Fish – 1/2 kg
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Fennel Powder – 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp or as per taste
Water – 2 to 3 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Preparation
Make slits on both sides of the fish and set aside.
Into a bowl, add all the powders and mix well.
Add water gradually and make a semi thick paste.
Coat the fish with this masala and marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. once the oil turns hot, place the fish one by one.
Set flame on medium and fry until crisp on both the sides.
Remove onto a kitchen towel to get rid of the excess oil.
