RECIPE
2 cups water
1 beet, peeled and chopped
Leaves and stems of 1 beet, chopped
1/2 inch-1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
1/2 medium avocado
1 cup raspberries, frozen
1 medium banana
2 tbsps flaxseeds
1. Combine all ingredients into a blender
2. Blend until smooth

This looks really good. I couldn’t tell if the beets and greens were steamed or raw?
I'm going to add beets to my smoothie tomorrow! I like some collagen powder and chia seeds in mine, and a chunk of green banana. Those with whatever berries, greens, and other produce I have — I've snuck zucchini, sweet potatoes and cauliflower into my smoothies before! And gotta have that avocado or some coconut milk from the can for the healthy fat.
I love beets! Definitely trying this recipe 😊
