Hi Bumbi: I had to try this one out IMMEDIATLY . I can tell you already everybody liked the potatoes 🙂 They way you present your recipes make me want to try it out ( I mean eat) / cook it the next weekend. I have to thank you for making everybody super exited when they know papa is going to cook Indian curry 🙂
Oh we missed you
Absolutely love your voice, your style of filming and cutting as well as your humour. Thanks a lot for this recipe. I always wondered though, won't the onions and garlic get too browned and bitter when you roast them so long with the chicken? And why do you sometimes roast the spices beforehand, and sometimes not?
Namaste I need a recipe for dhal makani without onion and garlic will really appreciate it Love from South Africa 🙏🙏

1:55 "the bones make the gravy extra-flavorful"
I use the bones to make stock, and then use that rather than plain water, so I figure I'm still getting the extracted flavor.

I tried to find a criticism of this video and its content, and being honest, I cannot find one. Your technique is tried and true, your ingredients are accurate, and presentation near flawless. I will be back. 👍🏻

Even I have one rule with Curry. Adding curry leaves just makes all the spices so much more flavorful. I just ate a leftover curry with curry leaves and it was so wonderful

THE REASON YOU DRY OUT THE CHICKEN US TO CAUSE THE MILARDE EFFECT.
IT CREATES YUMMY THINGS LIKE MSG AND FLAVOUR THAT BOILING WILL NEVER ACCOMPLISH.
