Slow Cooker Beef Brisket | I Heart Recipes

Hey ya’ll! I can’t wait to show you how to make Slow Cooker Beef Brisket:

I’m going to show you how I make my super tender, mouth watering Slow Cooker Beef Brisket. This recipe is super easy and straightforward. It’s almost impossible to mess this up. I use my homemade bbq rub for my brisket along with apple cider vinegar, liquid smoke, and olive oil. I mix the ingredients, and rub it all over the beef brisket, and let it cook overnight in my slow cooker. I then remove the brisket from the slow cooker, and place it in the oven on broil to darken the bark. The outcome is a melt in your mouth- seasoned to perfection- smokey brisket. I kid you not, this brisket is just as good as smoked brisket!

  1. Wow. Sounds like a great recipe only 12 hours seems like a long time for that size of beef brisket which appears to be about 3 pounds or so…maybe? I’m using that size brisket so I think I’ll go for half that time. Maybe a little bit better than half at 6.5 hours on low, 7.5 hours max. That should be enough time for a well done brisket. Will come back and post if that was enough time.

  2. Okay… I just tried your recipe last night and I had the beef brisket slow-cooking for 12 hours overnight in time for lunch the next day and it was truly amazing. I would definitely make this again. I used store bought applewood dry rub. I added a little bit of coarse pepper and coffee grinds to it. The rub and the liquid smoke was very good. Thank you for this recipe.
