In today’s video, we are talking smoked mac & cheese! This smoked mac & cheese recipe is simple and easy! It involves only 1 pan, and the end result is a creamy, smoky, and delicious mac & cheese that will have your guests begging for more! Full Recipe:
| Ingredients |
Mac & Cheese:
-1lb of elbow macaroni noodles
-1lb Velveeta cheese
-1 block of cream cheese
-1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
-1 cup of colby jack cheese
-1 cup of pepper jack cheese
-3 cups of whole milk
-1 pint of heavy cream
-1/2 stick of butter
-Tailgater’s BBQ Party Rub
-Hot sauce to taste (optional)
Bread Crumbs:
-2 cups of bread crumbs
-2 tablespoons of butter
| Instructions |
Prep:
1. Pour the 1 lb of elbow noodles into a disposable 1/2 pan.
2. Put the cubes of velveeta into the pan.
3. Put the cubes of cream cheese in the pan.
4. Add the butter to the pan.
5. Add hot sauce to taste (optional).
6. Pour in 1 pint of heavy cream.
7. Pour in 3 cups of whole milk.
8. Add hot sauce to taste (optional).
9. Season the mixture with Party Rub. You can add a little now, and more later to taste.
10. Mix so everything is evenly incorperated.
11. Add one cup of cheddar cheese, colby jack cheese, and pepper jack cheese.

1. Set your smoker to 275º F
2. Put the smoked mac & cheese on the smoker, and it smoke for 30 minutes.
3. After 30 minutes, mix everything up so it’s melting and cooking evenly. Do this every 30 minutes until done.
4. After 1.5 hours, my mac was done, so I added some toasted bread crumbs. To do this, I just melted 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan, and then 2 cups of bread crumbs, and then just toast over medium heat until they’re golden brown.
5. After you add the breadcrumbs, let the smoked mac & cheese smoke for 10 more minutes.
6. After 10 minutes, remove the smoked mac & cheese from the smoker, and let it cool a bit.
7. Eat and enjoy this creamy, smoky, and delicious smoked mac & cheese!

Definitely gonna try this! Looks fantastic! I'm celiac so have to go gluten free (boo) and nit find of most gf noodles, BUT gonna try and then try again… (and again.. and again… etc…) to figure out whether noodles in at start or midway… I'll let ya know… can't wait to try though!
