Sopa Fría is one of those timeless Mexican classics, creamy, fresh, and always a hit at the table 🥰 When I recently made Barbacoa, I paired it with frijoles puercos and this delicious sopa fría, and so many of you asked for the recipe. Here it is! 😋
SOPA FRIA INGREDIENTS:
► Salt to taste
► 1 lb. of pasta of choice (I’m using Ditalini Pasta)
► Some pickled carrots
► 1 can of corn
► Some pickled jalapeños and juice
► Squirt of mustard
► 1 cup of mayonnaise

Needs some Tajin and chopped green and red peppers along with green onion and then it will be interesting. Oh and some crispy bcon pieces. Ole! 🌶

Ooh, the pickled carrots are a great idea! I’ve never thought about adding them to any pasta dish, but they’d be great in a cold pasta salad!

Do you use best foods Mayo or Miracle whip or something else?? I find that the mayo brand makes a huge difference in flavor.
