A crusty, no-knead sourdough bread with a delightfully soft texture and deliciously tangy flavor. The dough is mixed one day and baked the next, giving it an elevated taste and texture.

I tried this. Must say that my loaves turned out beautifully. Not bad for a first time sourdough bread baker
I wish there was a way to upload a pic of them
Doing my very first sourdough bread and using this no knead message. Something Lisa said that makes me think you stretch four times on each side at each stretch process. Or is it a total of four stretches each session for a total of four stretches? Tks much
My dough got a dry crusty top on it! π is it still gonna make a loaf of bread? What should I do?
I studied your video and your recipes over and over – it took me three tries but I did it! The chair in front of the stove was perfect. I put mine in front of the fireplace. Thank you for sharing π
You may want to add grease to the parchment paper. My first loaf went into bread. Sprayed second one slid right out.
Can an enamel dutch oven be used?
If you don't have whole wheat can you just use all bread flour?
Do you use starter to make the bread or make levain?
can you use einkorn flour interchangeably in this recipe?
After baking a no kneed bread without allowing the rise up to 4 hrs and turn out heavyweight. Can anything be done to amend it or should trash the bread
Could I use all einkorn flour for this recipe?
Thank you so much, I will be using this recipe tomorrow!
I have made easy sourdough and tried other methods. The lazy sourdough was good but didn't have the "ear" or the same taste. This one turned out beautifully and tastes wonderful.
I didn't have bread flour but it came out fine. Thanks
My dough is still sticky what am I doing wrong someone help!!!!π’
was the whole wheat you ground red or white? hard or soft?
Well first loaf = epic fail! Lol However if the NHL needs an extra large hockey puck Iβve got one for them. Pretty sure my purchased starter never activated. Luckily we have pigs and no food item ever goes to waste.
So it's 2am I'm just getting it in the fridge for the 14 hrs thingy.
Question? Why not put the starter in the water and mix rather than putting the starter on top? Is there a reason for that to? Most other videos I watched that's what they did so in just wondering because this is the recipe I followed.
Ok Mrs lady lol. To me a while to get a good starter going and I'm following your recipe to the T accept for the milled wheat. This is my first time ever attempting to do bread and sour dough is my favorite! Will be baking tomorrow, wish me luck and thanks!
This is a great video! Iβve watched a lot of videos seeking good, clear info on how to do this and this one deserves 5 stars for clarity and demonstration of techniques! Yes, watching it several times was kind of necessary, but she cuts to the chase and is not all busy being clever and overwhelming with unnecessary details and chemistry. Wish I had found it before watching too many hours of other videos that were NOT very helpful! I had success with my first try! Thank you!
whats the least you can rise (fridge time)? I dot want a tangy loaf. I prefer taste of yeast breads? Could you rise on counter?
thank you for a great tutorial! my 2 loaves are in the fridge proofing! will be in the oven at 7am tomorrow! so excited! π€
Nice easy relaxed recipe thanks Lisa, mine turned out great.
