Made a few variations of this before, even using other YouTubers like Babish and always found it boring. This was brilliant, finally understand the hype behind it. Hats off to you Jack!

Really great recipe, we loved it! Thanks for sharing!
Question:
When you slice the garlic instead of mince/grate to not make it so over powering. Why don't you just use less garlic instead of slicing it then?
Thanks

Can someone help? When I added the pasta water the olive oil, it started popping and splattered like crazy. What was I doing wrong? Poured very slowly..
My employer's loves pasta and he is always asking me to cook for him. Since no ready made sauce at home i have to make my own so i found this video thank u chef..
Do you calculate pasta cooking time from when you pour it into the boiling water or from when the water comes back up to the boil? I've never known the answer. Spaghetti I can get right from throwing it at the wall but other forms I have to keep doing the bite test. Thank you for your help with this and for your informative videos.
For a portion of spaghetti 6 (six!) Cloves of garlic and as much chilli pepper as needed for 10 people plus black pepper! And of course in the end the pasta is overcooked. Not only does this culinary illiterate have no idea what cooking is, not the slightest sense of ridicule. This is not a cooking video, this is a horror movie.
You are not a cook: you are a criminal.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
For a portion of spaghetti 5 (five!) cloves of garlic which he first fries and then boils. An industrial quantity of chilli and then pepper again. This poor fellow needs a psychiatrist.🤮🤮🤮
I especially love the extra detail on keeping it in the fridge or freezer. Thank you for that! Greetings from Souther California

Does seasoning the pasta water with regular salt changes anything or do we have to use sea salt flakes ?
