As Rugalach is a cultural dish I grew up with, I've never seen it prepared as "pull apart bread" which seems like it's a mess. I've only ever seen it prepared as individual pieces. Yours looks "interesting" but incredibly messy, and probably not something you'd want a whole bunch of strangers hands diving into.
