Subuta can be found at almost every Japanese-style Chinese restaurant in Japan and is definitely everyone’s favorite dish. It’s certainly my favorite and a must-order whenever I go out to eat at one. This is my mother’s version so it’s not only delicious, but easy to make. Enjoy!

  1. Or you can do it restaurant style/buffets throw it all in a deep fryer. Cook it till done and finish in a pan with sweet and sour sauce from a bottle available at any store but restaurant supply stores is where I would get it.
