Summer Smoothies 🧊😍 | Debloating, Protein-Packed & Sweet Indulgence | 3 Delicious Smoothie Recipes

We all make smoothies for different reasons…
Some to feel lighter, some to get stronger, and some just to enjoy the taste!
So the three of us — Bahar, Burak, and I —
made 3 different smoothies to match our own styles 🍹🍋🍃

💚 Mine is a light, refreshing smoothie that helps reduce bloating.
💪 Bahar’s is protein-packed — perfect after a workout to keep you full.
😄 And Burak’s? A sweet summer indulgence!

Refika’s Smoothie
A refreshing, detoxifying green smoothie that helps reduce bloating and keeps you full.
Ingredients
2 small cucumbers
3 small frozen acur, Armenian cucumbers
A piece of ginger, size of a walnut
A thumb sized piece of turmeric
15 sprigs parsley, stems included
1 peach or any fruit of your choice
8–10 ice cubes
1 cup water
Lemon juice, optional

• Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
Burak’s Smoothie
A fruity, indulgent smoothie perfect for hot days

2 slices frozen melon
1 slice frozen pineapple
2 scoops of ice cream
¼ lemon, peeled
A handful of roasted white chickpeas, or any nuts
4–5 ice cubes
1–2 basil leaves
½ cup water
Topping, basil leaves, roasted chickpeas

• Peel and remove seeds from the lemon. Add all ingredients to the blender. Blend for 1–2 minutes until well combined.
• Pour into a glass and top with basil leaves and roasted chickpeas.
Bahar’s Smoothie
A nutritious smoothie that combines herbs, seeds, and plant-based protein.
Ingredients
10 sprigs parsley
A walnut sized piece of ginger
A thumb sized piece of turmeric
3 pitted dates
1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon oatmeal
1 scoop vegan protein powder, optional
1 tablespoon peanut butter
200 ml kefir, or plant based milk as alternative
8–10 ice cubes

• Remove pits from dates. Place all ingredients in blender. Blend for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
• If too thick, stir in a splash of water to reach desired consistency.
Key Smoothie Rules:
1. Always add some liquids like water, kefir or milk to blend the smoothie properly for a smooth texture.
2. Freeze your leftover fruits or cucumbers. Then use for smoothies to create a silky base. If you don’t have any use ice to make the smoothie cold.
3. Make sure to include ginger and turmeric — anti-inflammatory powerhouses that also aid digestion.
4. Add high fiber ingredients like chia, oats, seeds, parsley to keep you full longer.

  1. I have a smoothie every morning for breakfast 😊

    1 banana
    1 scoop protein powder
    1 tablespoon chia seeds
    1 teaspoon flax seeds
    1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
    1 big handful spinach leaves
    1/3 cup frozen blueberries
    Oat milk (allergic to dairy)

It's delicious and keeps me full all morning. Protein in the morning is very important

  2. Hello my Dear heroes, ❤❤❤ I am going to prepare three! Thank you so much for all your delicious recipes!! ❤❤❤
    Thank you so much !!!
    Blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

  3. Refreshing smoothie; beetroot, celery, rocket, salad (romaine/iceberg) summer berry frozen fruit mix, avocado, ginger, kefir, water . Could add hemp hearts for protein, also sometimes I add coco nibs but not necessary.

  4. The green one in the morning! I would add 1 kiwi, 1/2 green apple and 2 dates!
    Eat lunch
Drink the protein one for evening meal.
And…Burak's sitting outside in the evening enjoying the warm night!❤❤❤❤❤❤ but only on weekends 😂😂😂😂

  5. They make flavored protein powders, you could do chocolate and banana and the peanut butter would be good in that. I don't think your protein shake has to taste like the powder. They also have caramel protein powder and that might go very well with the dates. You could look up a sticky toffee pudding recipe for that powder. Is it harder to find the vegan powders in different flavors in your country?

  6. Thank you Refika and friends. I would not use the protein powder what I have learned is that all food has protein in it and that it has never been recorded a person died from lack of protein. I like the vegetables with fruit and nuts or seeds along with plain yogurt. I also have added vanilla or almond extract and cinnamon. Take care Refika God bless you all.

  7. I'm definitely going to try your smoothie Refika! It sounds really refreshing and I never thought of putting parsley in my smoothies. I'm very curious what it will taste like.
I visited Bodrum many years ago, unfortunately in the height of the heart so it was a little difficult to see a lot in the heat but it was still a great holiday and I was very interested in the tour to Ephesus that I went on, even though I was melted 😂
Much love to you all ❤❤

  8. Got to say Burak's smoothie seems quite interesting ,will try it ,never had that combo.. I usually make red ,green or banana, flaxseed, oats smoothie..I never mix green and red fruits or veggies as the colour turns quite unappetizing 😂 red berries ,beetroot ,grapefruit all make a perfect vibrant red smoothie ,on the other hand parsley ,cucumber and spinach make wonderful green
