ATK never fails. thank you. the rolling pin on the legs is a neat trick
Thank you! It's not that difficult. I just wish I had seen this video before my Christmas dinner
I came here looking to learn how to get "all of the meat out of THE BODY"; you neglected to show how to get it "out of the body". It's common knowledge that the best meat is in the tail and claws and you did a good job showing just how to, but there is also meat in the body! I wish you went all the way and showed how to get it out of the body as well.
Has a Texan I know my way around a piece of meat but this is pretty foreign to. me thanks for the tutorial
To remove the tail without cracking the shell – pull off the flipper at the back in the center. Then you can push the tail out in one piece using a finger.
Can we garnish with Vitamine A tablets?
Rolling pin trick is brilliant!
first is you never cook a lobster with the elastics on. second thing is you cut the claw from the underside not the upper, the underside is lighter in colour and softer… disappointed so i'm out before i spot more mistakes…
The lobster tamali is delicious! Never run lobster meat under water … ever.
The bet way to eat lobster is with your mouth 😀
i think dont rince green stuff is good to eat…
The shot of the meat coming out of the leg made me feel violated.
I could almost, before my inner eye, see Gordon Ramsay charging at this fella with a knife for running the cooked lobster under the tap.
What about the dead man's fingers?
…wiff yo mouff.
Another trick for the tail is you dont have to cut it to remove the bowel line; where the tail connected to the body theres going to be some flesh like a tab on top, peel it back to the other end and you get a strip of flesh and you reveal the bowel line to remove and you have a whole tail to enjoy. Those fanlike tips on the tail also yeild meat.
I knew all of this, and by the way, that 'dark vein' isn't a vien, its bowel.
Very good tip on using rolling pin on legs. Never thought of that.
so much trouble for so little meat, this is why i dont like lobsters。
You don't rinse the lobster…
Don't put your lobster under running water, it takes away the taste, same reason why you steam it and not boil it. A good fresh lobster tastes much better mainly because of the saltiness left over from the ocean, you wash it and the taste is gone.
way to go rinsing all that roe away! :s
I have such a crush on this guy.
after watch this video, I felt my whole life is wrong..
Brilliant tips
OUTSTANDING VIDEO! Quick, simple and duh! super clear. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙂
I've eaten lobster for 35 years now and I am embarrassed to say, I did not know those tricks. Next lobster dinner, I'm going to impress the whole family yay!
