During the lockdown, one of the things I really missed the most was getting sushi. I wish I had known about #sushi #bake . This is absolutely genius. If you are no where near your favorite sushi restaurant or don’t have access to fresh fish, this is a great alternative. Let’s be honest….nothing can ever replace real sushi. But this is a really good solid recipe that will satisfy your fix at least in the meantime. This is also a fabulous pot luck dish. It is super easy and will be a crowd pleaser!
1 1/4 Cup Sushi Rice
2 TBSP rice Vinegar
2 TBSP Furikake
300g Imitation Crab
2-3 TBSP Kewpie Mayo
4 TBSP Roe ( Caviar)
80g Cream Cheese ( Room temperature)
Optional
Green onions ( To taste)
Black pepper ( To taste)
Serve with:
Pickled radish and ginger
Nori Sheets
Cucumber sushi bake

can you eat this cold?
I loved this! Came out so good
I think I may have used a bigger casserole dish than I should have. my rice hardened too much along the bottom.
If your on a time crunch, use 2 forks to shred the crabmeat faster.

This is such a great recipe! I love sushi but sometimes I'm a bit lazy to roll the rolls haha sticking it in the oven is so much simpler, less messy and the final result looks so delicious 😋
Ooooh great idea !
I’d put more siracha
