In this video, we take a close look at the TEC Patio FR line of Infrared Gas Grills. This is an incredibly innovative infrared grill, because it not only reaches steakhouse searing temperatures, it can also cook low and slow at 200 degrees F! To put the cooking of the Tec Patio FR to the test, I grill some chicken quarters, steak, vegetables, and even smoke some cinnamon rolls & babyback ribs!

no Rotisserie?
My older model Sterling is still running strong and in great shape but it does not have the glass panels. Thinking to buy the new model's glass panels and rig them to my older model. Wonder if anyone has tried this.
What's the difference between the patio and sterling patio?
I follow TEC on YouTube, instagram and I saw all the past content. I didn't find a reliable video that demonstrates all the features and cleaning. This is supposed to be the best grill out there. Why no deep explanations? Mostly old content from years back. In the meantime I had no choice to move to charcoal. I bought the weber performer Deluxe. The stainless steel grates don't give much searmarks, but you get overall crust and top quality results for any kind of cooking. I will buy a gas grill when I will be sure that I get heat control fr low to very high, together with cleaning and maintenance options.
So I actually just bought and installed this grill from you guys this week. My very first cook with simple strip steaks seasoned only with salt/pepper I had a grease fire coming from the glass panels instead of it incinerating the fat render falling and turning it to smoke. The grill was preheated on high and cooking was done with the lid open. Any suggestions? Is this just a 'burn in period' and I won't need to worry about flares and fires as the glass gets a bit more seasoned?
It'd be nice if it had a night light..
Great demonstration! I am seriously considering buying the 44" built-in grill after watching this video. I had never heard of a 100% infrared grill before, but this looks amazing. The more I read about them, the more I like them. I have a great pellet grill that does most of my low-cooking, but it just can't reproduce the sear quality of a gas grill.
Hi there. I'm pretty close on deciding to buy this. Quick question: can you grill thick steaks here like tomahawk or rolled ribeye cap? Thanks in advance!
I am not sure if you are supposed to put a pot on the glass. This is from the TEC website.
FAQ: Can I use a pot, pan or pizza stone on my TEC grill?
Answer: Absolutely! But make sure that you don't cover more than 75% of the grilling surface with a pot, pan, stone, or anything dense; you can fill-up 100% of your grilling surface with food. Also don't put a pot, pan, stone, or anything directly on the glass emittor panel.
Chef tony, you are awesome as always dude. Also could you made a video of maintenance this amazing grill? If you have already made could you send a link to it please? If it's not trouble you. Thank you so much.
