Tender and Juicy Beef Steak
Tender and juicy beef steak cooked in a delicious olive oil, onion and white wine sauce! It’s the perfect dinner for the busiest days of the week!
Ingredients:
– 4 beef steaks (about 450 grams (1 pound))
– 150 ml (2/3 cup) white wine
– 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
– 3 cloves of garlic
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 1 teaspoon nutmeg
– 1 large onion
– 1 bay leaf
– 1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Step 1: Season the steaks with salt, pepper, nutmeg, chopped garlic and bay leaf. Marinate for about 30 minutes.
Step 2: In a large skillet, add the olive oil and the sliced onion. Sauté over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Add the steaks and the marinade and drizzle with white wine. Cook the steaks on both sides over low heat for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Step 4: Turn off the heat and serve.
