How well can you sear? The sear you showed was pretty minimal. If that's all the sear I could get I would just continue to sear on the stove then transfer everything

Good grief. This thing is a solution in search of a problem. How often can you possibly use this thing? If you know enough about cooking to use a dutch oven, just use a dutch oven. If you only know how to dump stuff in a crock pot, just use a crock pot.
Why would you get this pot when you can get a pressure cooking Instant Pot??
Looks dope. Wish it could lock up for a pressure cooker too. I can't justify a single purpose machine. I can just put my existing pot on an induction burner ($85) and set it's timer.
