These are the 3 levels of a fish sandwich. Which one would you choose?
Level 1: The Fast Food Sandwich
A generic bun, some processed cheese, basic tartar sauce, and fish sticks. Hard f*cking pass.
Level 2: The Homemade Sandwich
A quality bun, homemade tartar sauce, lettuce, fried cod, and a little lemon juice. Moderately better.
Level 3: The Detroit 75-Style Sandwich
A New England-style soft roll, Old Bay tartar sauce, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, sweet pickled onions, garlic dill pickles, fresh Lake Erie walleye, and some fresh lemon juice.
Now this is Maria approved, no question. This is the last week to get fish sandwiches every day, so be sure to stop by while you can.

I would not recomend eating anything out of Lake Erie
The third one has too much stuff going on for my tastes. I would probably eat a few bites as is, then pull the fish off and eat it by itself.
Batter way to heavy and thick on that third one still would eat all of them❤

Tbh, I’d eat all three. My Saturday cheat meal after the gym is four fillet of fish from macdonalds. I really look forward to that every week as I love fish sandwiches.
I think your lady probably has expert judgment. She was underwhelmed with the second sandwich and I thought it looked good.
Something Americans really struggle with when it comes to cooking, less is more.
The first sandwich was the right amount of ingredients, the quality was just poor, the last sandwich was a crowded mess.
