Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 frozen squash or zucchini, peeled and chopped (can substitute with 1/2 banana)
1/4 inch of fresh ginger (1/4 teaspoon of dried ginger, if you don’t have fresh)
1/2 small raw beet, peeled and chopped
1 scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder of your choice
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or milk of choice
If you use fresh squash or zucchini instead of frozen, add a handful of ice
Optional toppings: Fresh mint leaves, hempseed or unsweetened shredded coconut
Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
