Where is the list of the Coffee makers??
They don't hold up, that's why the company only provides a short warranty. It's nice while it lasts but they're just not made very well in my experience.
$160 now on Amazon. Gouging at its finest.
Thats why you pay little extra and get a technovorm
My aeropress crushed all of them, 34 bucks
They really messed this one up. You can’t find that coffee maker for less than $150.
$94 my a**. Try twice that much. And good for Bonavita if it can sell a bridge to idiots. A simple pour over with a filter is about 0.02¢ and takes just 5 minutes with water as hot as you like. No $2 coffee machine can beat that.
Can you make 1 cup from the Bonavita?
I don't think I've ever spent more than 30 bucks for a coffee maker.
On our third one (We are ROUGH on our coffee makers!) Never let us down, with 7.4 grains of hardness we've only descaled twice. A known problem however is the water reservoir gets hair line cracks, Ours have never leaked but others have stated theirs leaked on the bottom seal. BTW, none of our ever failed, we just wanted new undented coffee makers over the years, they still made great coffee when we replaced them. (We've never seen them below $140 )
i just went to look at this to buy it for my mom for xmas. went from 100$ to 180$, like damn yo… i dont even like coffee that much
I have the Ninja CE200 and I love it. Bought it mainly because you can remove and clean the water reservoir.
Liars
First off, I like your videos. I’m an occasional coffee drinker. Maybe because I have a terrible coffee maker and don’t understand how to brew a great cup? I would like to purchase a better coffee maker that according to the National Coffee Association, your brewer should maintain a water temperature between 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal extraction. With a glass carafe, bloom cycle, prefusion, can remove carafe mid brewing for a quick cup, coffee brewing timer. Is there a coffee maker that has all these features without breaking the bank. I highly respect your opinion. Thanks
Cannot believe this too much. Someone's palm is getting greased here.
You keep stating the Bonavita 8 Cup Coffee Maker, One-Touch Pour Over Brewing with Thermal Carafe, SCA Certified, Stainless Steel (BV1900TS) is only $94.00 @ Aug 24-2022. I wanted one so I clicked on your link to this coffe maker And now @ 11-3-2022 your link to this coffee maker is $179.00. That's $85.00 difference????? What's up????
Doing a "Best of X" review and ONLY mentioning ONE product is simply a PAID PLACEMENT AD, you should have the "PAID ADVERTISEMENT" flag on this video. Shame on you.
When was this video made? Most the still shots are the same shots they showed in their reviews from many years past. If you read the bad 1-star reviews (and there are plenty) on Amazon on the winning Bonavita coffee maker, several reviewers say what they paid, and it was at $100 in 2017. According to another reviewer, the coffee maker was already at $149 in 2020. There's no way this coffee maker was $94 in August of 2022. Not surprising. Once again, America's Test Kitchen giving the win to the most expensive products. Higher price doesn't guarantee quality or longevity. It's just a more expensive disposable small appliance, same as all the other expensive plastic pieces of junk American consumers are stuck with.
Awe geez
It is 189$! I would rather buy a Nespresso within this price range!
soo nice coffeemaker!
Aeropress beats the tar out of alll of these.
Yep, like others here say it's really $180. I was looking for something comparable to my aeropress or my French press for coffee quality but that didnt require me to babysit the brew. Not gonna dump that much cash for this though.
You have to do better than this with your timing and accuracy ATK. If you want me to keep clicking on these reviews. $179. Spend a little more on the checker and a little less on the set. We’ll be okay.
I wonder what they think of the Oxo coffee maker? ☕️
I just tried to look up the $94.00 inexpensive coffeemaker, and the cheapest price I saw was $189. How did that happen?
179 dollars lame, next review video
Hello there, how does it compare to the Technivorm Moccamaster?
180.00 now on Amazon. Jacked up the price due to this review. Might as well buy the cuisineart for 129.oo that I was looking at
Good review now the price just shot up $400.00
All Stores 900,000 Please Lower the price of all Brands of Military Equipment and Local for All Brands of Coffee Makers & All Items Now,The Whole World 900,000 Now That's Too Much $$ 900,000 Now 🙏 🤲 🕍
No thanks because it is made in china. I have stopped buying made in china crap.
Sorry i need a 12 cup 8 is a tease. Not cheap now 179.00 and that is with a dip in the price. No thank you .
I had that coffee maker and in about 4 years was replaced once by the manufacturer and then just recently went out again. I also paid almost $200 for it. Made great coffee but poor build quality. Can’t use the carafe to fill the machine unless you attached the lid, can’t pour without it otherwise it makes a mess. Upgraded to the technivorm mochamaster and makes the best coffee ever. Worth the $300
I disliked the video for the same reason everyone else – the $99.00 coffee maker is now $179.00 – y'all need to do your homework before posting these – still love the channel though!
Bonavita is out of business 315.99 in Canada
Checked out their one ⭐️ Amazon ratings and see electrical burnout pics…. Not liking after reading actual user reports on Amazon
Wrong. The Bona Vita one touch 8 cup coffeemaker is at best 179 down 10 dollrs from 189. What gives?
Bonavita is poorly built,I had two that failed, the first one would not shut off and was replaced under warranty. The second one stopped working all together and just past warranty and Bonavita would not replace it.There is no service center available for repair, they do not stand behind their products.Stay clear of Bonavita.Paid $139 on Amazon 8 years ago so IDK where they got it for $94.Wrong.
Tap water? Remember lousy water = lousy coffee no matter how good the maker is.
Have had the Bonavita for about a year. It makes good coffee but is cumbersome and inconvenient to use. You have to screw the lid on after it brews, it wont fit back in the holder with the lid on, the carafe is rather weak in keeping the coffee warm. I REALLY miss our OXO 9-cup coffee maker which is better in all ways
Morning wish is the best meat grinder with good price thank you?
ATK doesn't even include Bonavita in their latest testings because the company is in such turmoil. It's an odd choice to post such an old, outdated video which features prices and coffee makers from several years ago.
Bonavita is a lot more than 100$
I have one. It’s great. Highly recommended. Caveat. They no longer make it. So Amazon resellers may be adjusting the price up.
