Would canned pineapple syrup/juice add sweetness and more flavor instead of a simple syrup? Or would it mask coconut flavor?

“You noticed I put this in certain order: I put the liquid at the bottom….” Silly man, the liquid will always run down to the bottom, unless you put it in a plastic bag.

The best piña colada I ever had was made by a bartender in the Niagara Region and he has never tasted alcohol in his life. I've never had a good one since they closed the doors in the private club (my Father was a member and brought people there for business meetings) and I do miss them so. However, my body now has decided it doesn't like rum and I'll get crushing chest pains when I drink it; thanks hiatus hernia 😢
