The Best Sicilian Pasta | Jamie's Italy – UNSEEN

We’re transporting you back in time now Food Tubers to when Jamie turned 30 and took a road trip through Italy cooking all the way. Most of it made it’s way onto TV but this little gem has been tucked away ever since. Here he is in Sicily cooking pasta and learning from the masters. Need we say more?

If you like this one let us know and we’ll dig some more never-seen-before crackers to share just with you.

What’s your favourite Italian food guys? Anyone from Sicily out there who can tell us why your food is just so good?

  1. LOved this video. I am Sicilian and will be visiting Palermo soon (pandemic permitting) and would love to visit this restaurant as the crew seemed so friendly and welcoming. What is the name of the restaurant ?

  2. I am not even from a Sicilian background and I sometimes use the ladle but its more for serving decorating when you have guests. I just shove it on my plate. This pasta is hard find here and is only imported from Italy in Continental Delis.

  3. No way does that recipe call for 2 tablespoons of sugar. You'll get ketchup if you put that much. I did a half teaspoon of sugar and that was plenty to balance out the tartness of the tomato paste. I don't know if there was a language barrier or if the italian boys were trying to protect their recipe by trolling your man Oliver. Either way, use half a teaspoon and enjoy
