  4. Jeremy, I only recently discovered your channel and I've already learned a lot. I watched the comparison video of the three offset smokers. The Fatstacks appear to be great smokers, but I've read the comments about availability, and it might not be a good investment. Do you still have the same opinion about Fatstack and has the availability issue be resolved? What is the current price?

  7. Really sad to see what happened here! This video should be taken down before anyone else gets ripped off! Jeremy if you still have those two smokers you should give them to two of the people that got ripped off 4K. Many people ordered after watching your video. Not your fault of course!

  9. Jeremy, I've been researching offset smokers and appreciate your content on reviews and learning from your cooking experience. Unless I am missing something, the FatStack brand and owner you are promoting here have left several consumers and possibly "Subscribers" high and dry. Not sure what the owner of FatStack situation is, but with several consumers getting scammed in what seems like a Ponzi scheme, why pimp his brand? To protect your own credibility and channel, why do you still have this video up promoting this company?

  12. Dude you should take this video down. I don't know what happened but I see your 2023 update, and they have basically no internet presence except an article about them and some other random stuff. This video isn't really relevant now that nobody can buy them.

  17. Eric and FATSTACK have LITERALLY vanished into SMOKE with EVERYONES MONEY! He has stopped posting and he has stopped responding to calls and emails. He’s a crook and the fact you don’t even address this is shameful. I understand you have nothing to do with his business side of things but you have a responsibility to prevent any more of your viewers from falling victim to giving Eric any more money. I’m still a huge Mad Scientist BBQ fan but we need you to address the elephant in the room!

  20. In a blacksmith forge, you light a small fire with a piece of news paper under the smoke stack before you light you coal. It starts a draft up the stack before the big smoke starts. Try lighting a small fire under the stack before you light your fire box. Not sure if it will work but worth a try.

  22. Fat Stacks has scammed multiple friends out of 10s of thousands of dollars. As of November 30, 2023 the company property has been seized, all phone lines are down and zero communication from Eric. I’m sure the whole story will be played out in court. Jeremy, you may want to consult an attorney to find out if you have any exposure. Your product endorsement over the years just might pull you into this which would be a shame. Sad the BBQ community is dealing with this in times of financial hardships.

  23. This video led me to place an order with Fatstack, it’s been over 2 years, no smoker, out $4k, I think you should comment on that, people are still watching this video and want a smoker From Fatstack.
    Your content is great regardless of the shenanigans that is going on at Fatstack.

  24. After all the endorsement from you and other bbq-tubers for fatstacks, I'm disappointed that there hasn't been a public statement made addressing it. Many people bought them directly because of your influence, and they're out $4,000+… The owner apparently ran an inadvertent pozie scheme, and found out why taking money from john to pay paul doesn't work. Of course, it doesn't affect the 'tubers who got priority, white-glove service, who turned around and advertised them with glowing reviews.

  27. don't waste your money and buy an overpriced smoker for 5 grand because Jeremy yoder says its the best smoker. this guy is taking orders from people when he can't fullfill and complete the job. total bum and crook. if Jeremy yoder was legit, he would take this video down. but no he won't. he's getting paid under the table and will come out and tell us he doesn't get a dime.

  30. 5k for a 90 gallon tank?! That's a little steep. I understand the labor that goes into these cookers but there are other brands out there with the same features, cooking area and are 1/4" rolled steel for $2000 less.
    And they actually have a nice coat of paint on them…

  31. Eric and Fatstack are nothing but crooks. Over 400 orders and they’ve filled less than 40. Won’t do refunds. He didn’t pay his employees in Texas. This is just in poor taste to leave these videos up.

  35. For those that are unaware. DO NOT ORDER A FATSTACKS SMOKER!!! It very well may be the best smoker in the world, but you will never find out. Hundreds of people have ordered these smokers (some with a sizeable down payment, some paid in full) and absolutely nothing in return. They are now being told by the top person at the company that Fatstacks does not have the materials to build anymore smokers nor the money to buy the materials. The comany crumbling and it appears no one is getting their money back. Things could turn around, but as of Oct. 14, 2023, this is the situation.

    Jeremy really should take down both of the Fatstacks backyard smoker videos. No idea why he hasn't already.

  37. BEWARE BBQ BROTHERS!!! I have been waiting 20+ months as have most Fat Stack "buyers" for what turned out to be Fat Stacks "invest in me" campaign. They have delivered very few after demanding nonrefundable payment in advance. See their Sept 1st 2023 video delivers the news they now don't have a supplier for the pipe…, I'd reconsider "buying one" until they start delivering pre funded orders en masse. Good people but their backyard BBQ business plan execution has been met with far too many setbacks.
