I store lemons and limes at room temperature. I only need them to last a week, they usually get used. I find room temperature lemons and limes give up their juice more readily when squeezed.

I really expected this to be about making preserved or candied lemons. Imagine my disappointment.
Excellent advice; however, who has "leftover zest?" Is it just me, or does everyone else zest a lemon and end up with more zest left in the zester than there is in the recipe?
I'll tell you right now, bottle nose, I did not guess freezer.
Place lemon juice in ice cube trays, freeze, then put cubes in ziplock. Excellent for sauces or lemon water.

Do u know what he is missing? Lemons will be missing Vitamin C if they are kept in refrigerator. No one talks about that i dont know why?
