I'm so happy you posted this video. Stinging nettle and dandelion are true gifts from Mother Earth. The health benefits for liver and kidney function alone are positive, plus great additions to soups and salads (and a gallette). Don;t forget wood sorrel and plantain. 🙂
I had never heard of fiddleheads before. Neat.
My uncle always used Ramps in season in his cooking. He would never let anyone go with him when he foraged for them. So the secret of their location went to his grave with him.
You forgot ramps, more commonly known as wild leeks. They are absolutely delicious!
My Granny used to make "poke salad." found out that it can kill ya. Wow! To late. The hankering already there.LoL
This is so cool, I ate stinking nettle while young.
I grew up in the Caribbean and I loved it.
It pairs well with any things.
Ordinary, folks don't know of it and or never had it, even want to try it if seen at the farmers market
Super
Thank you for highlighting the strAnge but super delicious kinds and types of vegetables
Love that book!
I like reference-meets-activity books. Okay, I'm sold.
(Fiddleheads seem to be making a comeback. )

Great information, Thanks
i love fiddleads. a staple here in maine
📽Figured it out🎥
Its not the camera movement that is disturbing, its the lens! An improperly chosen wide lens will give viewers a queasy sensation when moving. Its not a natural view of things. Fix that, and you get an A+😎
The stings of the nettle are actually a great anti inflammatory and has been shown to help with arthritis. They definitely hurt, but stinging nettle is one of the all around most beneficial plants out there.
I like this!
Whoops. I take it back! Not at $25 on sale. Many sources available on internet, youtube, in print with this sort of info.
Can you turn the music off in the background? Can’t concentrate on the speaker! 😡
No ramps?
Greens = Greats!
More foraged food vids.
Please don't encourage random idiots on the internet to forage for their own greens without suggesting they get some sort of proper education about wild vegetation. >_<
❤️ you guys!
Stinging Nettle root is also good for your prostate
From rural ky., garden greens like turnip , mustard, etc… are fairly easy, 2 most popular here are dandelion and polk, when prepped properly and cooked properly they are delicious , but a little bitter, still great.
You look fabulous 😍❤️
