Crack Burger – Hidden Valley Ranch Burger
🔶Ingredients
80/20 Ground Hamburger
Hamburger Buns]
Melted Butter
Chopped Onions
Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning
Elite BBQ Smokers SPG – Salt Pepper Garlic
🔶Cheese Mixture
4 oz – Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup – Dukes Mayonnaise
1/4 cup – Crumbled Bacon
Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning
🔶Directions
– Season the Hamburger Patties with the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning & Elite BBQ Smokers SPG – Salt Pepper Garlic on both sides and the edges.
– In a mixing bowl add in 4 oz – Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 1/4 cup – Dukes Mayonnaise and 1/4 cup – Crumbled Bacon.
– Liberally apply the melted butter to the hamburger buns
– Mix throughly and set to the side (refrigerate if needed)
– Preheat the Griddle set up in a Hot and Cool zone section.
– Grill the burger just shy of your desire doneness (you don’t want to overcook them while you are waiting on the cheese to melt)
– Brown the onions and move to the cool section of the griddle
– Place the Burger Bun on the warm section of the griddle to toast them
– Add the Onions and Cheese to the burgers and cover to allow the cheese to melt
– Build your Crack Burger and enjoy

What do you think about this burger?
All I see, with the exception of the meat (assumedly), is preservatives and garbage ingredients. I've learned what they put in bread to keep it 'moist and fluffy ' and it turns me off. I have no doubt, it tastes amazing… But you might be healthier to do the namesake at that point. 😂
Might I suggest adding a good quality mild Smoked Spanish imported paprika to your burger seasoning, and the mayonnaise/ cheese mix. All the smoky flavor without the extra work!

Why is everything “crack”? So many Midwest things named “crack” I’m in Oklahoma and I have no idea why yall would name so many things after drugs.
I use 100% kosher polynesian horse cum. Great substitute if you can’t get any HVR.

I'm all for different tastes from time to time, but I tend to feel that if you need to add stuff like this to a burger, you're doing something wrong. My go to is a smash burger made from ground wagyu with 70/30 fat to lean ratio. Some kosher salt sprinkled before smashing and if i top it for you, it's gonna have pickle, lettuce, onion and thousand and people absolutely destroy them.

Burgers look great. That said, I'll I ever see on these vids with the griddles is what a pain in the a$$ to clean up for 2 burgers. Same thing could be done in one cast iron pan and one burner.
You should have used 100% Beef… Those premade patties have fillers and don't taste as good fresh ground Beef….

Does look great and really juicy but comma I don’t know why only better the middle of the butts and not the edges. They want to have butter on it as well. The buns are not really being toasted properly. You’re getting them hot, but you’re not toasting.I would put a weight of buns and leave them cut side down until they turn brown all the way across then you would have the perfect burger. I love the fact that you don’t smash your burgers down and run the juice out.
