Just made this and i gotta say man this is the only way im eating belly pork from now on , maybe less water next time for me as i wasnt happy with the thickness but it was delicious .

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have added this to my rotation. When I ask my other half to purchase pork belly he is so happy. We've had this with rice and cucumber also bok choy and other times broccoli. In place of rice I have added softened potato starch noodles into the liquid.

Aaron, I mage it exactly the way you instructed. It was delicious. But how doyou get it so red. Mine was brown.
I tried this and looks like 5 cups was too much liquid. Had to take some out and thicken it.
I wonder if the pork belly can be substitute for another cut of meat?
