  1. I love modifying the ramen packs! I stopped using those "flavor" packets which have way too much salt. I use a no-salt or low-salt chicken broth, chicken, green onion, ginger, garlic and if I have it, some frozen "Asian-style vegetables" (broccoli, snap peas, carrots, water chestnuts) or just straight broccoli. I only use a few dashes of soy, even the low-salt (I use what you have) still has a lot of sodium in it. Some toasted sesame oil and some Mongolian Fire Oil kick the flavors up a bit, and sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on top.
Want something really tasty? While it's cooking, crack an egg or two in it and just let them cook, don't stir it up. Don't cook the egg so long that the yolk gets hard, you want it still runny and liquid, but firm whites. That yolk blends with the rest when you're eating it and makes a great rich flavor. Bring it up another level and use duck eggs instead of chicken eggs. Same flavor but more of it and richer yolks.

  2. ok, if you come to live chat, you prolly know i am a mod here. i would like your opinion of my version. AB says his recipes are starting points. i will make this as a stir fry. cook the noodles as directed and drain. cook the beef and veggies. i will add bean sprouts snow peas and gochujang. you wont need as much broth because the noodles already cooked, dissolve the brown sugar in the soy sauce and a little broth. you can add more broth as you stir fry, depending how you like your stir fry. i would love your comments. Thanks, Jerrold the MOD

  3. What AB said abt the onions is true!! you can also do this with celery collards ,lettuce leeks brocolli califlower !!!! Endless miraculous growth from store bought food, using the bottom of the plant the stem/ root base ! It doesn't have to have roots it will growth them too. Plant, leave the top exposed and be ready to be amazed ❤❤
