oooh my … Better love pizza cuz one of these ovens will run you around $900.
I built a pizza oven that is wood fired. 800 to 850 F. Super thin. 90 secs to cook. Delicious. The trick is minimalism. Don't go overboard on toppings.
Great video. I always thought oven temperature should just be max, glad I see that more or less confirmed here.
Oh and happy international women’s day 2024 to everyone except those people that simply can’t watch a good informative cooking video by two women without commenting on their appearance y’all!
I make a super thin crust 19” old NYC style pizza in my home electric oven at 480°F with an 18” travertine tile. It takes 15-30 minutes to preheat and about 8 minutes to bake. Travertine tile: $7.00!! So they are totally wrong. As usual, they’re just selling / endorsing equipment and they will probably block me after this comment. (They’re just actors, not as nice as they appear.)
