I love when people don't know that Worcestershire is literally, English fish sauce. Just like Asian fish sauce, English fish sauce is also made with fermented fish. In fact, The Queen called it English fish sauce once she found out the similarity. So technically, you added two different fish sauces to this mix, just FYI 🙂
Yum!
Oh I'm going to try the fish sauce. That sounds like a yummy idea.
No one mentioned pickle juice… gotta add a splash of pickle juice. Oh and no mention of celery salt. Sheesh.
What time is brunch? If I drive all night I could probably make it 😊
You already added fish sauce before you added the fish sauce…🤫
I was hoping those were elbows or cashews…
That
Now we know why they're named horse radish 🤣
"Woostersure", Julia.
Nice Julia, but way too much work. I don't have half the ingredients you use in the Bloody Mary and even less for the onions.. I'll just buy them.
Make Virgin Mary’s next time
The hot mustard and Old Bay spice jar cross contamination was really messing with my OCD.
Change the pearl onions with garlic cloves – marinated garlic … and have a masaive chew of garlic that you can eat – not taste – but know you have eaten garlic when your breathe is powerful ….
Now put this with beer and you have the best Michelada ….
Honestly. Use V8 juice instead of tomato juice. Adds so much depth of flavor and won't need fish sauce. ❤
Those Tbsps look a little skimpy!
The best Bloody Mary isn’t a Bloody Mary. It’s called a Cesar, Canada’s version of a Bloody Mary.
The 🇨🇦 Ceasar is a far better drink
I'd go virgin. I don't like it too spicy.
Need episode on butter cookies and pecan cookies and a WHOLE series and baby shower , wedding style decorated/ing cookies. Russian pipping flower tips and frosting.
Hair of the dog…Looks absolutely delicious
My favorite "drinking my vegetables" moment😂😉
One of the worst cocktails ever conceived. Always go Bellini or Aperol Spritz with brunch, you'll thank me.
Julia, straws are okay. Really!
Too much trouble to make on my i.
Fresh horse radish, quality fish sauce, and my fav brand vodka. You rock Julia
By adding the fish sauce to the Bloody Mary, you have (almost) replicated the infamous Canadian cocktail known as the "caesar", which is essentially a Bloody Mary, but with clam juice/broth added. Here in Canada you can buy "Clamato" Juice, which is Tomato Juice pre-mixed with dried clam broth and other spices. Perfect for a caesar!
Sorry, but the secret to the best bloody ever is: use gin, not vodka.
Sounds like a great bloody mary…we have found the best garnish is a pickled green beans
Random question: is there a virgin version of this drink? Keep up the awesome work. And, take care. /o
