WEBER GENESIS –

Today, Trevor brought out all of The Weber Genesis Models!! The Weber Genesis is such a popular grill we had to make a video breaking down all of the different SKU’s.

The most confusing thing about this line of grills is each one can come with smart features and lights. having some units have smart features and lights and some without lights gets so confusing!! They really did add more Sku’s for having lights on the handle of the grill!! If you’re going to get a smart grill we highly suggest just getting the lights too.

Let us know which model would work best for you! As always thanks for watching. Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe! Thank you so much!

  1. Waiting for my first ever gass grill and its a EPX-435. Cant wait really, hope the investement is worth it for a really long lasting product, not making me feeing i need upgrades every second year, or so.

    Thanks for informative video

  2. Ohhhh, boy, I'm falling down a rabbit hole with this one. I want to have a favourite gas grill, and previously it was the E-425s, but I should get to reading up on Weber models..

  3. Dude, I'm with you concerning all the Weber SKU's. So many in fact that Weber can't address them all on their web-site. I learn more about available features and configurations from videos like this. Give me a call and I'll come pick you up and we'll Bitch Slap everyone at Weber corporate.

  4. The most annoying and confusing thing for me was you saying annoying and confusing over and over again…. I got your point after the intro no need to keep going back to that every 20 seconds… other than that very informative video… thanks

  5. People who say it is hard to assemble this grill probably did not try to disassemble it and put back to box for return. I spent about 3 hours assembling it https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . Can't say that instructions were bad – they were totally understandable for me, not harder than assembling IKEA bed, but the whole process is just a little time consuming. When I assembled that I connected it to a new U-Haul tank and there was a huge leak in connection between gas tank and grill. I was able not only feel or hear gas leak, but I was literally able to see this leak because it was huge. I closed gas tank immediately and contacted Amazon for help and they offered either refund or 30% discount. I chose refund and then spent another 3 hours disassembling this grill and then figuring out how to put it back, but it was fun, like some sort of puzzle. UPS picked up grill next day right fromy front door. Next thing I went to Lowe's (I also wanted to make some BBQ on Christmas, so did not had time to wait for replacement from Amazon) to find another grill, but smallest they had was exactly the same model as this one. A guy from Lowe's assured me that thing like this happens rarely so I decided to try again – spent another 3 hours to assemble that (so it totals to 9 hours now) and it worked! Tried to cook some chicken – it was delicious. And because I assembled this grill twice it was easier to clean it since I knew which parts are easy to clean.

  6. Went and looked at a number of 335 and 325 grills at local dealers, and found that the 325 is always made in China, and the 335 models are made in the USA. So I don’t know about “made in USA under $1k.” Maybe it’s not every region, but in the North East I saw more than a dozen of each and it was always that way.

  7. Where are each weber made??? Your videos are amazing, but I think you should include where each Webber is made, Napoleon, broil king. Please give your audience where they are made and warranty. This would be pretty cool!

  8. Wow, you hit the nail on the head with this video. I've owned at least a half dozen gas grills in my life and I really prefer grilling with gas. As the world has turned upside down and prices are skyrocketing on us consumers, I really appreciate you spending the time to break things down for those of us who have the experience to know what kind of grill we need and want. Weber makes a darn good product, but they really do have too many models to figure out unless you really dive in deep. I just want a grill that is well made and will last and is at least "primarily" made in the USA. I don't need electronics and crap that help me grill because I already know how to grill. I know a lot of people have no clue how to grill food, but I do. Thank you!

  9. I boiled down to this, either get the regular genesis for 875 bucks or if you are looking at thier higher tiers you better be looking into other brands too because the Genesis fire box is the same on every model and then you just start paying alot for simple upgrades and they charge a premium for them. I wanted the weber sp-e335 and that's 1,429 msrp, but it is basically a 875 dollar grill with handle lights, 9mm ss grates, side burner and a extra side door. So is it worth 500 more for those extra items? It wasn't to me and I ended up with the napoleon prestige 500. Lol. I went to 4 places and delt with too many people who could have cared less about selling me a 1,500 grill. Too bad your store wasn't near me.

  10. To many SKU – how dare they let you decide exactly what size burner, colour, lights and smart features you have. They should cut out all features so its easier for the sales rep to remember a few numbers. To hell with the customer that wants lights in their smaller burner grill. You only get lights if you get the most expensive largest one….also can we count how many times this guy complained about features and details.

Maybe script the video so it isn't you checking with your sound guy over and over ' does that make sense, did i simplify it, and repeating yourself 10 times. The 15min vid had around 3-4min of actual information.

If this was scripted to sound 'casual'….get a new storyboard writer for the videos.

"I don't know if you can get a better American BBQ under $1000 dollars – that's a big statement…" Saying you don't know something, is a big statement – scared how big a statement is when you do know something!

  11. I am about to purchase a new assembled SPX-435 for $1200 cash. Yes its not stolen or has fallen off a truck but its new never used. Not scratch and dent, more grill than I need but for that price, I could NOT say no. I was looking at buying clean used ones in the mid 4-500 Range but they were already 10 years old. So I am making the drive to pick it up this weekend. Secretly though I like the cool bells and whistles. 😉 Since I have only owned Charbroil grills most of my life.

  12. Scored the EX 335 last weekend on clearance for $608 normal price was $1479 at my local lowes almost bought two but figured I’d leave the other for someone else to have the lucky find definitely look forward to seeing how much I like it

  13. What is so special about the special edition 9mm stainless grates? The cast iron grate cook the food just fine or am I missing something? I like the cast iron grate better because you don't have to worry about any food falling between the the spokes.

  14. What I don’t get is why the top of the line 3-burner does not have SS grates. I have a really dark back yard and need the lights, which means smart features., which is the most expensive option. Which does not offer SS grates. Argh. Forces me to go the four burner, but I like the black enamel. If the just simplified their sku lineup, they could simplify their production, make customers happier, reduce their inventory needs, and make more money at the same time. Maybe their New CEO will help things in this area. I suppose I could buy the 3 burner and buy the SS grates, but then I’m just $200 from the 4 burner.
