A local cafe made beet muhammara that I ate at least 3 times a week! They stopped making it, to my heartbreak. Definitely converted me to team beet.

Here is a favorite way to serve raw beets: grate, add mayo, grated garlic and a pinch of salt. A cool summer salad.

My late grandpa used to grow beets in our backyard. No problem until he started to cook them and to me it just smelled like dirt, and I could never imagine eating them. However, now I'm willing to try some beet recipes based on this video 🙂

I’ve had beets raw, pickled, cooked savoury, sweet, grated and put in stuff, roasted etc etc etc….
I actually had two main veggies I couldn’t tolerate since youth, this and cauliflower- I’ve come to love the cauliflower but the beet…
