Homemade Vanilla Extract Recipe

Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers, Oreos, or other chocolate cookies
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Filling
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
¾ cup sugar

2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 tsp. vanilla
strawberries and white chocolate shavings (optional)

Combine cookie crumbs, sugar and butter. Press into the bottom of a
greased 9 inch springform pan or deep dish pie pan. Set aside.

Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and
four until smooth. Add eggs and beat on low, just until combined. Stir in
vanilla and melted chocolate, just until blended. Pour flling over crust.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack for
10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen.

Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight.

Garnish slices with strawberries and chocolate shavings, if desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.

  1. I have had food processor on and off over the years as they broke just did not bother to buy them again. Such a space clutter for me. I just use ziplock over the years. Saw FP at thrifty last week . Put in my cart then out the cart it went.

  2. This looks like a great, easy recipe and can’t wait to try it! One thing is, I always use a silicone spatula to scrape the melted chocolate out of my measuring cup, and also I use it when mixing the stuff together in the bowl. It does a much better and quicker job of getting all the ingredients out of the measuring cup and mixed up in the bowl. Much easier than a spoon.
