Trying Keystone PORK Canned Meat Food Storage Prepper Pantry #prepping #food #foodstorage

Trying Keystone Canned Pork for the first time! I’ve had this canned meat in my Food Storage Prepper Pantry for 2-3 years and finally tried it. I love that this canned pork only has 2 ingredients (pork and salt), has no preservatives, is gluten free, made in the USA and best yet…fully cooked! It also is high protein and has some fat in it which is hard to come by in preps! Keystone meats have at least a 5 year year shelf life and are perfect for prepping. The meat tasted great and I will definitely be buying more to stock in my prepper pantry.

  1. Having canned meats is GOLD in my prepping pantry. I’ve not tried this purchased canned product but can my own and I love the beef. I found out that is you are careful removing canned pork from container to leave more intact and fry in some oil (this would probably work in an oven or air fried) that it crisped up on the edges which then gave it a "carnitas" texture which is great for tacos!

  2. I'm a truck driver. I have, yeah, 1 or 2 chickens, 1 or 2 of the pork like that I got I know 2 of the hamburger. I love the stuff I use it. Almost every single day for my meals when I stop for tonight and I tell you what you can make some fantastic meals of that stuff. And this is coming from a truck driver. And you know how we lack our food

  3. As long as your can isnt dented, the high fat content in canned meats will allow them to last for a LONG time. Possibly decades. Just look up any video of SteveMRE eating food from the 60s and its still perfectly preserved.

  4. I think drying meat is also good kinda like making beef jerky, back in the old West days and mountain men would carry it because it lasts, and quick protein, I've always been an outdoorsman, but I've always wanted to go off grid in the mountains.
