In this episode, I share some recipes using Vegemite – many Aussies love it – it’s the spread that divides many people. In this episode I make Vegemite scrolls, Vegemite spaghetti and Vegemite chicken. Plus I show you the correct way to eat Vegemite so you can enjoy it. These recipes are easy, quick, and tasty – and easily feed one, two, or more people.

Those all looked nice to me. As a kid I used to swop a box of raisins for vegemite and cheese sandwiches. Such a good deal I thought.
Seeing a lot of campers through mid week when before you didn't? Housing crisis! Same here in WA as well.
Thanks for your videos Dean. I am always impressed by your courtesy and consideration for other campers when you film early in the mornings. The ONLY gripe i have with camping/vanning is with noisy neighbours who feel compelled to yell rather than using their "inside voices". Hope to see you on the road one day, take care.

I love Vegemite. I like it in mashed eggs, a recipe I was first introduced to when I was a baby! It's good for you if you have the occasional drink of alcohol too. Gives you a good dose of Thiamine, (Vitamin B1).
You missed making a hot beverage with Vegemite but dissolving a teaspoon in a mug of boiling water — the poor man’s bonox
I had vegemite on toast at a little place called Woodgate on East coast Bunderburg region. Kevin who was the organiser of the blow karting club made me some at the campsite. He also took us blow Karting. Wonderful memories. We have marmite in England, which I like. I did it with pasta and cheese years ago when my son was little. Also great with poached eggs on toast. Marmite or vegemite??????

I'd love to see you do a picnic at living legends.. I know it's not camping.. but it's dog friendly, picnics, famous horses.. and a colonial homestead… you are not far away
My favourite breakfast is big slab of sour dough toast.. with Vegemite,avocado 🥑 , tomato 🍅 a poached egg… yum

I used to make a toasting with Vegemite,Tomato and Cheese it taste like meat…very nice…
In that last dish was it 1 dessert spoon or teaspoon it looked very small…
My Mum if she didn't have beef stock cube she used to use Vegemite for flavour in pies or stew…etc…😂❤😂❤

So nice to see the resident swamp wallabies. The vegemite pasta sauce looks okay and am curious to give it a go I might add some spring onions to it as well. Am making the vegemite and cheese scrolls tonight. The chicken drumsticks looked divine and so easy to do. So lovely to see Mt Franklin at a quiet mid week time. Glad there was no rain, to put a vegemite and cheese damper on your level of enjoyment!😁
