  1. Never heat the curd and consume . It will cause many health issues. Being Ayurvedacharya I'm posting this for those people who really care for their health , others can ignore……

    1. Curd is ushna virya (hot in potency) by nature.
When heated, it undergoes a change in its intrinsic properties, making it more pitta-aggravating and less digestible.

2.Heated curd becomes heavy and sticky in nature, impairing digestive fire.
This leads to Ama formation, which is the root cause of many diseases like skin disorders, joint issues, and sluggish digestion.

3.The beneficial probiotics (good bacteria) in curd are killed upon heating.
This destroys its digestive benefits, making it a burden on the gut.

4.Heated curd increases Pitta and Kapha dosha, which can result in:

    Acne

    Skin rashes

    Indigestion

    Cold and cough

    Blocked channels

    ✅ Safer Alternatives:

If you need to consume curd in warm food:

Use buttermilk (takra) instead—it is lighter, digestible, and dosha-balancing.

Add curd to lukewarm cooked dishes at the end, but avoid heating it directly.
